The fabulous Clinkerfields'

Horse dances waltz Many musicians in this area are not aware of their current entitlements under the award and so are not in a position to evaluate what they may be signing away under an AWA. You should not sign anything away unless you are getting paid for it! Some of the award provisions are now inoperative due to the new legislation. You can check out the award here. You cannot know if a contract is a good deal unless you know what you are already entitled to. I very, very strongly recommend that you contact the Musicians'
Union before signing any employment contract. What you sign will not
only affect you, but affect producer's attitudes and expectations of future
contracts. You don't want to be one of those who contribute to the destruction
of the profession of musician. Uncle Terry ScrUTube? Dear Uncle Terry I've heard some worrying things about "Youtube". We want to use it to push our band video but don't want to get screwed (again). What do you think? Alphonse the Undertaker Dear Alphonse, I've heard some rumours too. "The Dues" is preparing a report on Youtube for the next issue, I suggest you check that out. In the mean time here are some things you can do: 1. Read (thoroughly) the terms
& conditions on the Youtube website . Uncle Terry
